Case study: 15.73 kWp Malmesbury, Wiltshire

Running workshops, a beauty spa and providing office space for other commercial tenants can require high electricity demand. With ample roof space available, solar PV was the perfect way for one Wiltshire client and his business to bring down their energy bills and do their bit for the environment. The added incentive of the Feed-in Tariff made solar power perfect business sense.

With planning permission and application for connection to the grid secure, SMC were able to install a total of 15.73 kilowatts of solar panels on the business premises. By using multiple strings and inverters the installation directs power to the areas of the property that need it most, giving a system that is the best solution for the client’s needs. SMC’s flexible installation team were even able carry out associated building repairs and groundworks to produce a turnkey solution.
